When one of the UK’s major financial institutions, which owned a number of the UK’s leading insurance companies, decided that they had to install a new voice-recording system to make certain that the company complied with the latest FSA regulations and to improve upon the service that their existing system supplied, one of Ballintrae’s experienced expert consultants was appointed as the project manager. The project presented an array of challenges including compliance issues, following tight internal procedures and the large rise in numbers of employees using the voice-recording system.
When a leading bank created an insurance arm through multiple acquisitions the merger integration team were faced with a massive challenge in creating a seamless single call centre operation using one telecoms carrier and uniform systems and software.
